Diversity in the Classroom
As an educator, we are the ones who molds and help the young ones to develop their minds, especially, children. The challenge that we teachers are having a difficulty is not the the lesson topic itself but the "STUDENTS" inside the classroom. The diversity in the classroom that we are working and we learn is already adapted and implemented already but it's how the teacher handles and manages to face it. Nowadays, we have a lot of changes affecting certain factors on the student, the culture and the system that we are in.
Different individuals with different characteristics is something that we can't ignore. This is something that we should pay attention. This is how the reality of the classroom set-up wherein you will met and know different individuals with different interests as well. But how could we make this work? How do we involved and engage ourselves in nurturing children? This is the common questions that we usually ask to ourselves. This is how we measure our capability to handle certain individuals. In my almost 4 years of studying education, I've learned a lot of theories that you can learn in facing children and this also serves as a key on how I get myself to be realistic in a classroom setting. I know, there are issues that we future teachers should be aware of but one thing I could have say on this is, we should be flexible enough to accept adjustments and the changes that is already happening in this diverse learning.
As future teacher, I'm the one who's responsible to cater their needs.I'm the one who plays a vital role in the classroom. To be an effective teacher, I should always keep in touch with my students and to monitor them if they have any concerns regarding on our lesson topic. Not only that your obligated to do your task only as a teacher just to have a monthly salary but a teacher has passion and dedication to make and raise children to become better and aspiring individuals as well.
